Build quality appears to be very good and I have to put my ear right next to them to hear any noise. These are being used for a custom application where I needed to cut the corners off the outer part. While working on them I inadvertently pulled a wire loose from one of the fans. Thought I ruined it but it easily disassembled so I could solder the wire back on. After reassembly it was good as new and still quiet. I'll be buying another set soon.
I was surprised how much air these fans can put out from just usb power...but they are really loud. That is why I gave it 3 stars. Good, but loud.
