Other than that MAJOR disappointment, the apps are nice, and I have had no problems connecting to Netflix or HuluPLUS. I am still having some issues with connecting to Pandora though.
I am just sorry to have spent the money expecting an Internet browser in addition to everything else. 3 stars for false information from Panasonic (and through them, every other business selling this product). Otherwise, this is a very good blu-ray player with decent apps built in for the price.

This is my first blu-ray player, and my primary interest is in playing Netflix on my TV. I find the player slow to "boot up". Then I have to navigate back to Netflix each time I turn it on. When I get to the Netflix screen (handy Netflix button on remote), it seems slow to connect to the web site, and then it has an annoying screen asking whether I want the regular Netflix or Netflix for kids. You have to answer this every time you turn it on. Then the Netflix menus are not the easiest to navigate, and it's easy to accidentally start a video you're not interested in.I tried leaving the player on, on the Netflix screen, but it turns itself off after some period of inactivity good for energy savings, but it means I have to navigate back to Netflix all over again.
Another oddity with Netflix. The player has an on-screen keyboard to enter a password for your wi-fi network, and for searching within Netflix. But the on-screen player is nowhere to be seen when you need to enter your Netflix user name and password. You'll have to find a way to attach an external keyboard for this part of setup.

Had the Blu Ray player for three weeks, they send a forced update to the player. Now Blu Rays don't play. Call their support, and their answer is? You need service.Absolutely poor customer support, upgrades that will kill the "blu ray" in you Blu Ray player, and forums that just offer apologies.
