Easy to install HDD. Spent all day running wires through house. Careful with wires since 1 ripped while pulling it through a 3/4 in drilled hole. Just soldered and heat shrink took care of it. Does work nice and I setup a free sub-domain so I can view the cameras from anywhere with internet access. The only thing that I would say is a con, you have to install 2 separate applications on the client computer just to view it online. One of them FileWriter.exe needs to run as an Admin as well. But for the price, it's awesome.
Purchased a 4 camera system and had questions that were responded to quickly via email. The install was simple by running wires in soffit around perimeter of roof. Good quality equipment for a steal of a price. Compared prices and nobody came close comparing identical equipment.
