I need a uni-directional lavalier mic with a female mini-XLR connection. The PLMS30 mic I received has an XLR connection for "Shure" equipment. I didn't realize Shure's XLR connection has a center pin for a total of 4 pins instead of the normal XLR 3 pins, so I can't use it.

These past two weeks I have used the Pyle-Pro PLMS30 at our Church for sermons and it has been outstanding. We purchased this to replace an original Shure wireless lapel mic. It plugged in to the remote with no trouble (mini xlr) and the sound quality is crisp and clean. A very good replacement for a GREAT price. If I had more remotes I would certainly purchase these mics to do the job.

Great replacement for the Shure mic. The mic we had was probably 30 years old and had frayed at the mini xlr connection, to save the church money we went with the Pyle Pro. It exceeded our expectations. I had to turn the reciever volume to less than half its previous setting and it still was louder yet clear.

No problems here, well maybe the hole in the foam windscreens could have been a little bigger -they were tough to put onother than that they work very nicely with the Shure mini xlr to normal xlr adaptor.
