I used the Amazon customer reviews to purchase this DVD player, and I am happy I did. This player is exactly what I was looking for something durable, cheap, and easy to use. My surprise how great the sound is on this thing! Lots of volume and really good quality. Because of this, very easy for two people to watch at the same time without headphones. I've only used this player on one trip, but so far so good. Keep in mind that it is small. It is not the size of one of the players that you rent from In Motion. But, little kids don't really care, and its small size makes it easy to toss in your backpack or bag. And it's very lightweight. I bought this one because it had a longer battery life than some of the others in this price range. It charges quickly also.

I am currently waiting for Amazon to replace this one. The picture has a "washed out" light coming from all sides of the screen. The last two DVD players did not have this problem. I hope this is just a defective product and the new one will work because the unit is very nice other than this problem. Amazon has great customer service so I am not all that concerned. If the replacement is defective, I will go with something other than Sony.

This DVD player is small but it is a nice size for my 2 year old boy to hold in his car seat. It must be durable as well because he has thrown it several times and it still works like a charm.
