This camera was very inexpensive and was purchased to keep in my automobile to document an accident or emergency. A couple of weeks after I bought the camera, I got whacked in my new, four week old vehicle. I immediately took a video of the other driver's completely frosted over windows. We'd had a freeze, he was in a hurry, and hadn't scraped his windows. By the time the police arrived, he'd run his heater until the windows cleared. I forwarded the video to my insurance company. The camera worked fine for this purpose. I wouldn't use it for much else.
I bought this camcorder because it was inexpensive, and I was going oversees on a Cross Cultural trip with my college. The videos weren't absolutely fantastic, but it did the job! This camcorder also took pictures, and it did take very good pictures. I definitely got my money's worth in this little camcorder, and I didn't have to worry about somebody stealing it because it didn't break the bank!

There really isn't much good to say about this camera. The video quality is poor and it eats batteries. I sent mine back after the first day. If you use the zoom at all the video becomes absolutely unwatchable. It is just a blocky mess and it still doesn't look very good zoomed out.
