Very interesting but I have to study and learn all the buttons on it.Easy to retrieve the message, just like a jumpdrive, connect it to usb pc and find the drive and open to listen to it.

Decent pen, and size is good for bringing around to meetings and interviews. Recording was clear, easy to use, and easy to transfer onto computer. Takes awhile to get used to the controls, especially since the buttons are really small, but that's a reasonable trade-off to get the sleek design and inconspicuous look.

I used it in the 2 months I have it about 2x and now when I finally figured out the operation I am pretty happy. The mike is quite good, the 3hours lecture it recorded from good 25+ yards distance very clearly, when replaying it back I had no trouble understanding. The documentation is better than I expected after reading the review. Yet making sure the pen is in recording mode (unscrewing, doublechecking that the correct color is blinking, screwing it back together) makes me a bit worried always that I will mess up the modes. Ultimatelly I think it is a very good product and more experience will make me more comfortable using it. But if they want to improve it further, simplifying the controls would make it a 5-star product.
