its great for picking up voices 8 -12 feet away, but the extended life battery back does not do its thing when i inserted the triple AAA batteries into the battery back. easy to operate,

The product did work as advertised, however the instruction manual did not explain the functions adequately. Excellent customer service more than made up for the deficiency of the manual.
