I didn't buy this here on Amazon, just at my local Home Depot. Its seems like quality construction, metal around the sides and top; the bottom is plastic though. Long extension cord (8ft), good for extending an outlet and adding 6 more. Has lights for ground and if its protected; the switch is also lit. 4 of the 6 outlets are close together, the other 2 are far apart, makes room for those large boxy AC adapters. Its likely you will have to replace this surge protector after it stops a surge. I recently ran too much current through it and it broke.I thought I should add detailed specs (for those who like them):
