I recieved this item and it looks great. I was exited to set it up and charged my units and tried to plug the usb cord up and set up my software. well it seems there was nothing on my Digital Wireless Baby Monitor Drive CD REV:837.1 and it will not find driver by not having it so I am wondering how to find the software if anyone knows please post
1. It has a rechargeable battery. The battery lasts about 4 hours in the handset.
2. The camera has a rechargeable battery as well-in case of a power outage it will run about an hour.
3. It has automatic night vision
4. It does NOT zoom in or out or pan left to right or up or down.
5. It does have a slot for an SD card for recording.
6. It does not monitor room tempature
7. It does not have a night light or play lullabies.
8. Its sound does NOT have an option to turn off auto mute.
9. The sound is not very sensitive and only comes on when baby is really crying loud or coughing. (Its not quite sensitive enough for me, so I will be returning it)
10. No mounting hardware for camera.
This is a decent camera for the money. The sound is just not sensitive enough for me and it doesn't have a button to adjust sensitivity.We have been using baby video monitors for our kids for 3 years now. This is our 3rd brand, I just wanted to try it. Bad decision. This thing broke after a week of use (the other 2 brands broke after a year of use)! The on/off switch is funky (does not turn off when you want it off), and makes static noises at night when we are sleeping. The sound output is not great on these, and the picture quality is really bad when the camera is in a dark room (which is what happens at night when the lights are off in our daughter's room). It's great that there is a 2-way talk option, but this product lags in the basics such as picture and sound qualities.I bought this monitor not knowing what to expect because of it not having any reviews on the functionality of the unit itself. And I am so glad I did!! I LOVE THIS MONITOR! I didn't expect a lot because it was a lot less than all of the other monitors but this monitor works better than the one I paid $150 for..Never Take Your Eyes Off Your Baby or in my case my puppies, I can monitor them at daytime or even in a dark room at night. I set it to a position to see them better .The camera and the receiver Will Find Each Other From A Distance Of Up To 600 Ft .I have nothing bad to say about this monitor, picture is great, sound is great and battery life is great!
