I originally purchased this because of a run in with a lying police officer. Had I had this, the entire issue would have gone my way as it was, it went all his way.

The first unit was defective, but BOYO sent out a new unit after confirming the first one was bad.

The video quality is pretty good overall. In the day it is almost good enough to read license plates (will in idea circumstances) and at night it is good enough to give a definitive record of what happened, the color of the car, make and model, etc.

The software is a little annoying, as it has quirks. For instance the file you want to look at needs to be on the desktop it won't work from USB. But after dealing with those issues the software is pretty awesome. Vehicle speed, location by GPS, G-forces the vehicle is experiencing, all put together to provide an accurate picture of what is happening/happened.

Would certainly recommend if you can find it for purchase still.

The unit is easy to install and the video is good quality. It is stable and has a wide angle video. The manual that comes with it is fair. It is translated by an Asian to English.

Well worth the price. Very staisfied!
