The video capture card works alright, however it wasn't specified in the product description that in order to get 1080p recording, the computer needs to have at least a quad core CPU in it, otherwise it only records in 720p.
The only thing is you need to buy a bigger USB Drive at leased a 32 gig so you can install on another computer because 16 gig is not big enough. So I bought a 64 gig so I know it will be.I just got it installed this morning but it seems to be working great. I like having HD capability now. The settings are fairly user friendly. There aren't a whole lot of options for recording with the program that comes with the card but its simple and user friendly. I just put it in the computer, inserted the install disc that came with it and had no problems.This particular capture card does wonders for me. I have a Sega Saturn which I wanted to capture gameplay from, but all of the normal cheap capture cards freak out when encountering a Genesis or Saturn signal. The fact that this capture card works so well with older consoles on top of the new ones means that I have an all-in-one solution for capturing videogame footage through component RGB cables, or HDMI, whatever I want.
