I see a lot of bad ratings about this Blu-Ray player. The only thing bad about this player is the remote control. The complaint you've heard about it being clunky is true. As far as the Blu-Ray player is concerned it can't be any better. The quality and speed is quick and precise. The complaints about the menu being confusing is just not so. It is on par with the sony and samsung players I have had. The quality and video streaming is quick and accurate. It has no problems holding the HD steam. The Roku Box I have does seem a tad quicker in locking on to the movie and starting the stream. But once the Vizio locks on I have no problems watching standard or HD movies on netflix. This player is definitely the best player for under $200.00. The base is deeper and the quality is cleaner compared to the Samsung BDP-1500 I had in the past. If you can put up with a clunky remote this player is definitely excellent quality. Highly recommended.

Bought this at Wallyworld on sale yesterday cheaper than Amazon offered which is a first for me! We brought it home, took all of about 4 minutes from box to start-up. It found our router easily and logged on securely within a minute or two. Updated the firmware and came up with additional TV aps that were not on it out of the box. Pandora, VUDU and Netflix stream wonderfully, and our router is in a room 30+ feet away and through three walls. This unit even programmed the weather App to our location on it's own, which I still have not figured out how it did that. The Blu-ray picture is awesome on our older JVC 30" CRT HDTV Model AV-30w777, and the Apps are a bonus. We look forward to upgrading to a Vizio LED 3D TV eventually and this will be the first piece in place.

We just returned a Magnavox with WIFI Built in Model#: MBP5130/F7 because it was horrible with WIFI reception and took forever to spin up. The Vizio makes that one look like it came from the Flinstone's era.

While yes the Vizio remote is a bit clunky as others have said, it works just fine for my big hands, and having to press hard on the buttons is no big deal, especially when we were programming the wireless WIFI authenification code. The front panel operating controls are touch sensitive vice buttons, which is not only pretty cool but leaves less buttons to wear out in the future. Overall a wonderful product, great picture and excellent deal when you can find one! Great Job Vizio!!!
