Don't buy. I purchased this to use as a subwoofer connection from my home theater system. After installing, I pushed the subwoofer back in place, maybe a few inches and very lightly and the prong on the inside of this cord broke off in my subwoofer. It looks like the prong was made of plastic with a layer of "gold" over top.

Works as needed. No issue. Had to replace the subwoofer cable ona radio I just bought. Fit perfectly and is currently playing. Still haven't turned the volume to max, don't want to disturb the downstairs neighbor.
