Call Recorder/Software, plugs into MIC

Call Recorder/Software, plugs into MICI use this at work to record sales presentations. I plugged it into a phone jack near my computer (separate from my phones). It took a little effort to adjust the two volumes so that it would recognize a call and record it. I set it for vox so that I don't have to remember to switch it on. It records all my calls to my computer's hard drive. I can play them back and make notes in the included software so that I can find the call later. It also reads caller ID. Sound quality is very good. I had one question about caller ID. Called customer support and got an answer immediately. All in all it's a very good tool.

I have used this product for several years, it's invaluable! I record all important phone calls (IRS). Check the laws in your state before using (Most States allow recording with only one persons (you) consent required).

You could spend $100k for recording and archiving, or you can buy a few of these. Very simple to hook up, takes a little 'tweaking' of your computers microphone levels to get the right sound, but an excellent option for small offices.

Happy with my recent purchase, I participate in plenty of technical conference call where attention to details are crucial and with this recorder it allows me to instant replay while recording and include subject/notes of each call. This recording device is computer/software base and doesn't allow you to hook it up to an actual recorder however it makes up with features that can't be found on the market, there even a function where you can you send in your recording and have it transcribe for you. The sound quality is clear and there is a slider on the device that allows you to adjust the record volume to amplify/filter out the white noise for clearer quality. Installation of the device couldn't be easier; just hook the device to your computer, install the software, and set the default mic input to "inline" under the windows sound settings and you're set. I would definitely recommend this product for someone that doesn't mind using a software base recorder.

This works briliantly. Automatically captures all the calls with perfect clarity. I tried others that only captured at one phone and the quality was horrible or didn't work at all. I set up a Win7 box in the basement, y's the cable and plugged it in. All of the calls are automatically recorded and go to my file server, including ones on VM. They are all sorted by day and I can review them easily from any PC in the network. Awesome and simple product
