KIDS REAL Camcorder, With Night Vision

I was hoping to find some other reviews on here. Maybe I'm the only one who was duped into buying this?!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my niece and gave it to her tonight. It worked for all of 2 minutes before it went black and no one could figure out how to get it to turn back on. We put new batteries in it, fiddled with it & read the manual to see if we could get it going.

This was a hotly advertised sale deal from JC Penney.com this year & they tried to set the "regular price" as 79.99 & made you think you were getting a real steal. But the main point is, regardless of what I paid for it, by advertising the regular price as 79.99 it made it look like I was getting something of pretty decent quality...for a kids toy. But the price here on amazon is even between $30 $50....which is quite a bit of money for something that doesn't work.

I too bought this as a gift last year for my grandkids. It worked for a minute then went blank and wouldn't turn on again. It was replaced at jcp store and the same thing happened with the new one. Very disappointing for the kids.

Considering the price, this is an excellent little toy camcorder for kids to have fun with. Takes SD memory cards and allows the videos to be uploaded to a home computer.
