(If these things in fact cost nothing to make, Rode might want to rethink this, and lower the price. People will be much happier with them if a $300+ mic of theirs comes with a whole PACK of these, covering all common sockets. I wonder how many people, like me, receive their stuff, realizing they forgot to get the adapters, and can't use their thing until a 2nd order arrives. An *expensive* second order.)

So the pin mic needs phantom power to work, and none of my recording units have phantom power in a 3.5mm jack, only the 3 pin XLR jacks provide phantom power. That goes for mixing boards and what not too.
