I actually got this as a christmas present -and I haven't put it down yet.The picture quality is amazing you can get up to 5MP for a picture or video capture!! 5MP! Most Digital Camcorders are around 3MP... so that'll bring a smile to your face.
I have recorded several videos and transfered them to DVD, and it is crystal clear when viewing it on TV. The only problem is keeping my hand steady, but a tripod fixes that in no problem.
Easy to use software, and camera menus. You even have nifty Black and White or Sephia settings. Also have web cam and direct print capabilities.
But for any first time buyers, if you get a digital camera must buy a memory card. Once you start taking pictures/video you won't want to stop!
