I teach a small Sunday School preschool class and needed a DVD player. This is just perfect for up to six children. The wife uses this to watch her exercise DVDs and it works well for her. The size is much better than the 7" we had and the sound is good enough to hear while doing, say, jumping-jacks. The price was right and Amazon always treats you well.

Bought this for my son a couple months ago. I decided to take a chance on this one because the price was right, and it had a larger screen size. Surprisingly great picture quality, audio level is fine for us, mainly uses it around the house. Battery easily lasts long enough to get though a movie +. It did arrive with one dead pixel, we didn't return it because the resolution of the screen is so high you only notice it if you get in really close looking for it. Overall, we're very pleased with this purchase, hope it holds up in the long run, but if it doesn't we have a square-trade warranty on it just in case. Purchase price plus 3 year warranty was still significantly less than just price of the big brand name players in this screen size. 4 stars! (1 off for dead pixel).

I bought this item for my 2 year old to watch praise baby while I am doing laundry or cleaning or nursing my 12 week old son :) I bought it used and it came in perfect condition. It really is the perfect lil dvd player. I had to adjust the coloring because it looked weird at the default settings. Also if you are any closer than a yard it does tend to look a little pixelated. The screen turns 180 degrees and then can lay flat to cover the buttons so your child cant mess with them. That is important to me. i wish I could lock the buttons. Parental control means you can put a password on the dvd player so they can't watch movies above a rating you set. I love it.
