Honeywell 5828 Ademco Wireless Keypad

Bought this to use as a second keypad near my side door. Couldn't hear the main keypad when I walked into the side door so I needed another one. Prior to buying this I accidentally set off the alarm many times. This one works great! Nice and loud. Great as a second keypad . Highly recommended.

Simply put: It works as expected. I needed a device that worked with my alarm and this seems to do the job. It is not very loud, but it beeps and is audible enough. I have it hooked to a power outlet at all times, though it runs on batteries. I have one issue when it is powered by batteries is that I do not know how to bring the device out of "sleep" mode when on batteries.

Product works as expected. Slight delays being wireless when entering your arm and disarm code compared to a similar wired keypad. Over a good product. It serves the purpose of adding a keypad in the bedroom with out have to do any kind of construction or sheetrock work.
