Panasonic Ag-1980 S-Vhs VCR Editor

I've had this device for a couple months. I used this to convert a bunch of old VHS-C tapes to dvd. The TBC (Time base corrector) cleaned up some serious tracking and other image quality issues I was having. I would recommend this. The video is still jittery at points, but this is just because the tapes are old. I plan to get an external tbc to correct the jitter. I couldn't get the video input to work, but I might need the original remote for that (I'm using a universal remote, because I bought one that didn't have the original remote).

I would recommend this VCR.

VCR operates flawlessly and had the Time Base Correction needed for converting the Y/C and stereo output to digitized files to make DVDs.

I gave it 3 stars becuse it was used equipment and no longer produced.
