this item sounds nice and looks nice when you read about it and see it on UTUBE...but trust me....piece of shit.....terrible....no usuable user manual...yes they give you a manual but half is in another language but it is a useless .....no user guide to help you understand what the hell to do...you have to figure it out on your own...TERRIBLE....IT WONT KEEP A CHARGE...ITS SHUTS DOWN WHEN IT WANTS.....IT WONT START UP WHEN IT IS COLD OUTSIDE until the heater warms it up....its a CHINA PIECE OF CRAP....stay away...i love the idea of having big brother watching over me if i ever had an accident that was not my fault as it can be usefull as a video witness...spend an extra 100 bucks and get the BULLS I DVR...you wont have a video screen to watch...but then again this video screen decides to cut out when it wants....so you are not sure if it is recording or not....spend more time screwing around with it than anyone needs to ....ITS GOING BACK....ABSOLUETLY HATE IT!!!

You will love the Cam for auto security purposes. However, the company needs to spend a few dollars for someone that knows how to write an Instruction Manual in English or any language. It would help to have a software update site as well. I would Buy this product over all others.

Have to figure out most of the operations on your own, bad manual. Suction cup has held up great for a few weeks so far and is easy to lock down or remove. I cannot use my power port because it has power even when the truck is off so the camera won't cut off. I will wire it into a direct power supply at the mirror which cuts off when vehicle off to solve that problem plus no wires to run. Still figuring out some of the features, which there are all you need present. Videoed a State Trooper going by me at 70mph in a construction zone with speed limit of 55 and all he did was pull into the crew area to sit with lights on to warn people of construction.

The image is good, price is good, delivery was quick coming from China. The problems are 1) CD that came with it is a mini CD, so I had to find an old computer that can take one, cuz it didn't fit in my lap top. 2) Upon play back it's a bit choppy. I changed the resolution to see if that works. We'll see. 3) It kept stopping recording for no reason after about 3-5 minutes, so as I was driving I kept having to restart it. I did a system reset to see if that worked. So far it has. 4) I TRIED to read the instruction manual.... That only has a couple pages that don't tell you $ I-I I t. That has about as much info as a blank sheet of paper, so for now I'm on "trial and error" to figure out how to operate it. Wouldn't buy another.

Love the camera, but I recommend you get (Registrator Viewer) viewing software download it from their sight.

and also download the code pack they recommend also a link to it is on their sight. Would have given 5 stars, but like I said the software that comes with it blows big time. But the delivery time was very fast, only 5 days from China to California.
