I correctly connected this splitter and it didn't work from the start. When I just had a single optical cable plugged in it would work somewhat but would cut in and out....horrible product.

Quick shipping, but the product didn't work for what I bought it for. I wanted to add a sound bar to my existing surround sound system. It worked for a few mins but after that the voices started to echo each other on the two systems. Wasn't out too much money, but still bummed it didn't work.

For the price they are OK so I gave this product 4 stars. These are optical cables so I am hoping that the signal is not degraded (time will tell). For your kids game consoles these are OK but I wouldn't use them for high end audio. No problems but not great build quality if you are saving dollars (and who isn't these days) they are OK for the money. I'd buy again for the right application.

I had seen the other reviews and knew that it might or might not have worked but splitting from my Panasonic TV and sound system worked just fine with no problems.

cables are very thin and don't look like the ones in the pic, they work fine...but for how long remains to be seen
