They worked hard at making the order right, but it was after Christmas before I received my full shipment and had to make numerous contacts to get the issue resolved.

Do not buy this or anything made by this company. It would freeze all the time and one day just stopped working after my having it only a couple of months. I also bought four more of these for my children and they did the same thing. Don't waste your money.

Sounded perfect for my son, but the touch screen stopped working. The company said that after 90 days, I would have to pay 40 dollars to get it repaired/replaced. I asked their representative, why they list their warranty as being for one year, he said between 90 days and 1 year they would replace the Ematic E6 8GB for $40.00. On top of all this my son was constantly having to reset it and even though it has 8GB of memory built into the device, that memory is worthless because it get's wiped when you reset it the E6, so you are stuck with keeping everything on your purchased separately microSD card. Why would anybody want to pay $40 to replace an item that costs $40-$60 to buy new, and I would have to pay shipping and handling both ways, what a bargain. I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND the Ematic E6 8GB MP3 Video Player or purchasing any of this company's products. The telephone customer service representative did not seem surprised that it did not work or that I was unhappy with Ematic's products, this not a good company or product. F.Y.I. Ematic and XO Vision are the same company, so don't let them trick by slapping another name on the same bad product.

The price is good. I love the color (mine is purple). 8g memory is perfect for me. I've had it about 6 months and I still have around 6g's of memory left, so it will last for a good while. I like that if I run out of memory I can add external memory. The main reason I bought this mp3 is because of the external speaker. The external speaker drains the batterie faster, but the batterie life is still decent. Picture quality is good, but it doesn't have a flash so you have to have plenty of light to take a picture. What little I have used the video, it works really well, and the sound picks up fine. The same goes for the recording, the sound is great. Videos, pictures, recordings, and music are easy to get from the mp3 to the computer. I haven't had any trouble with it. You just need a decent knowledge of a computer. Music quality is great. Downloads with media player are simple. The ematic screen is clear and easy to see, and well lit. The radio works good, but you can only listen to it with head phones. Speaking of head phones, the set that came with mine were very cheap, so you may want to buy a better pair. I haven't used the ebook, so I can't tell you anything about it. The touch screen works good, but is a little delayed. Start up is also delayed. When you turn it on, you have to wait 15 or 20 seconds for it to display the desktop screen. Over all I think this is a great product. And Amazon's service was great.
Touch screen is not good, camera is so so, functions does't react fast. This is look like a toy for child age 3-4 year old. Amazon is always best.
