I was hoping to make a video greeting card using this, but the camera picks up horizontal lines. The only way to make the horizontal lines appear less is to be in a very bright environment, either right next to a bright lamp or in the direct sun. The microphone also picks up rather faint, you have to talk loudly.My battery door also kept coming off, I ended up wedging some paper between the batteries and the battery door to keep it shut.
I also don't like how when it is turned on, it flashes "ZOpid" and the model number for about 1-2 seconds. It would have been more graceful if it just turned right onto the camera or video playback mode. The controls are easy to use.
It does not erase the video if the batteries are removed or being changed.
