It would be 5 star if the instructions were more detailed. To operate this tiny piece is not too easy, however, after a few practicing sessions it is not so difficult.A good feature is that it can be connected with a PC and NO batteries to be replaced.

I'd recommend it for a busy person, who keeps memoirs, imprassions, notes or even music scores (humming melodies). Sales agents, assessors, newsmen, students.
It is lightweight, runs for an imprsssive period of time, has very good microphone and wonderful ear-buds.
The only cons is the cheap materials. One of the main buttons sometimes doesn't work, since the first day.
When it works, everything's fine.

Positives: good price, decent recording quality, small and light, rechargeable battery, no need to install software.Negatives: the manual was clearly not written by a native English speaker. I couldn't figure out how to set the mode. I returned it because there were occasional hiccups in the recordings, but I now think that it was because it was set on sound-activated recording mode, which loses the first second or so of what's being recorded if there is a brief silence that cause the recorder to pause the recording.
