I tested this kit for three weeks without drawbacks-I set the DVR. I installed remote access with a public IP without problems. The cameras work 24 hours since well. I think it is a good product.

the instructions on the setup suck.. you kinda have to just figure it out on your own. the part for setting up your remote view through wifi on your phone is too complicated without instructions and I have been unable to get that part setup.
