The software comes on a small CD, so if you have a front load CD slot, (like on a Mac Mini) you can't load the disk....HOWEVER, you can transfer the files on another PC or a macbook to a thumb drive and then down-load to your mac with the thumb drive. It only took a few minutes to do that, and then it loaded right up to the mac. The software is pretty easy to use, and with some trial and error I was off to the races. very cheap but does exactly what it says it does def nice recording quality off of my audio lecture I needed to transfer to disc if ur tape has good audio then ur recording will have good audio so if ur tape quality sucks don't bother but will advise anyone who wants to send there old tape collection to disc this is for u

I had another item like this by a different manufacturer that simply stunk. Poorly made and did not have the proper speed. This unit works flawlessly, very happy with the purchase and the product. If you want to "clean" the resulting music you need third party software. All things considered this is a great unit.

For the price, this is a acceptable product. The included software is really not very user friendly as the instructions are minimal. But, after several tries, I figured it out and it copies casettes easily to your computer (and then to CD.) Again, this is what I needed and it does work.
