USB DVB-T TV Tuner Recorder Receiver

The little USB tuners look too small to really work, but they are really full featured TV tuners with stereo sound, auto channel scan, Digital recording capabilities and Hi Definition TV.

Bad news is this: The DVB-T tv format is NOT Available in the USA, or anywhere in North America. This means that, even if you hurry and buy now, you will find out once you try to use it, it Will Not Work at home. It will work on your PC once you travel to Europe.

Does the seller know this? Maybe not, but if they do, they are being misleading, since TV broadcasts within the US are in the ATSC broadcast format.

Best take a pass on this product if you have hopes of using it here in the USA.

First of all I have to say that I live in Colombia, South America, where the DVB-T digital TV standard was adopted several years ago.

The device works perfectly with the available digital channels, being able to watch HD TV programs when produced and broadcasted in HD.

The only drawback of the product is the application software it is packed with (BlazeVideo HDTV Deluxe v6.0). It produces errors during installation on windows 7, and it does not work properly. This is the reason why I do not give a score of 5 stars. Fortunately I discovered that the device works perfectly with the free software product VLC Media Player. It also works smoothly on Linux (Ubuntu) with no driver needed.

I was shipped incomplete product that included pirated version of the software. The reseller made no effort to correct the situation (other than me spending more money to ship it back).

They are crooks and do NOT trust them.

I like the fact that you can record programs

Not sure if you can load it on more than one computer. It would be nice to be able to load it on different computers

Their is only one device so you can only user it on one computer at a time. will try and load it on another one later
