I already have an older Zopid monitor. I wanted to get a new one for another room, thinking that they would just link up and I could view both cameras on one monitor the old and new don't link up. But, that's not a huge deal, seeing how she's only in one room at a time anyhow. The new monitor (the one I'm reviewing) has a much longer range. I can practically walk up the street and still have a totally clear view on the monitor the old one would only work within our home not even in garage. So, the range is awesome. The night vision is good it's a little purple looking, but you can see everything perfectly plus, you can zoom in to see a close-up view. If you are a super nervous mom (like I am) and want to make sure she's breathing every second you can definitely see her little lungs expanding with this monitor (the old version, too). That's why I bought another Zopid monitor they are reliable and I feel like I am being the best mom I can be by having this monitor I feel confident I can always see her. The sound feature (including volume controls) are much better on this model. I don't have any real complaints about this monitor and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable wireless monitor I've already recommended this product to many mommy friends.

This was given to my husband and I as a gift and the motion detection is incredible. No more having to worry about waking up in the middle of the night to check whether or not my baby was breathing. The night detection worked great as well. I love the video and color on this as well. Great gift... we definately suggest for any new parent to get one of these

The baby monitor arrived quickly but did not work reliably. It cycled off and on every few minutes which made me think it could not be relied upon

The seller asked me to return it for repair, which I did a couple of weeks ago.

The seller very kindly issued an immediate and full refund when it seemed to work for them but not for me.

I had high hopes for this camera and was specifically looking for one that could zoom in and out and rotate at least a little bit so I could find my little one in the crib if he moved. Originally bought the Motorola one that did not zoom and although it was a much nicer product than this overall, no matter how far away in the room we positioned the camera, it still only covered about 1/3 of the crib... we just have a small nursery I guess. So this Zopid model was bought to fix that... My complaints:

1) Bad picture quality (compared to the cheaper Motorola model)

2) very difficult to navigate the screen (can you imagine in the middle of the night!) and there is no clip or stand attached to the monitor... you have to carry around a separate plastic stand that is a pain to put on and off and is very bulky.

3) This camera does not zoom effectively and does not rotate at all. The zoom function it does have (if you can say that) is not like your regular camera, rather you have 4 choices in a separate screen, of upper right, middle left and other ridiculous choices and then you have to go back to the main screen to see where you are and there is no in between. It either zooms in way too far or you are back to the basic camera view. I am sooo disappointed and cannot return because we foolishly threw away the box before testing properly. I just thought because I spent so much it would work fine and at least do what it claimed. We will not use this at all, and I am back setting up my basic audio monitor for now. Perhaps this would work okay for elderly care during the day, but do not get this as a baby monitor where you will need to navigate it at night and look for squirmy babies. I was led astray by positive reviews and wanted to make sure another mom didn't make the same mistake I did.

Was working good for a couple of months. As time went by, the battery would stop to hold charge. The battery is extremely poor quality, and is visibly bulging. However, the device would still work connected to AC. Until the power supply died, and the only way to keep it working is to connect the mini-USB to a laptop.

The company doesn't stand by its product, they will not ship the replacement battery or charger, until I send the the broken parts at my expense. The device doesn't function if the battery is not inserted, thus I will end up for a few weeks with no baby-monitoring.

My advice to people who consider buying this monitor -don't! All the features and DVR not is not worth the hassle and stress, when this product will stop working in a few month.
