This camera works for the most part. It does record an acceptable image at 1920x1080 at 30 fps (good but not great). You can start to read license plates at 2 car lengths or closer. A very strong point is that is does not miss any recording time between timed segments (this option does work). I tried a K2000 and had to return that camera because it would stop recording unexpectedly among other issues. However, many of the setup functions of the GS5000 just do not work. Meaning you can change options and nothing happens. The manual indicated a different firmware version (among other omissions) than I had so not sure if I have a clone GS5000. Takes a MicroSD card. Mounting suction cup is solid. Software included (GPS map) to run on a PC is junk. Camera GPS takes along time to aquire satellites. Camera only displays Km/h. I have had the camera for over a month and it starts recording when the vehicle starts and shuts down when turned off. Does the basic job.
See attached 33 second video example.
Camera set at 1920 x 1080.
Microphone was Off.
