I am not the guitar, but my son is. I admittedly do not know a lot about this type of equipment, but we upgraded his floor amp to a larger, higher wattage amp which he cannot lug across the campus of his college. I found this portable amp for him and it is perfect for dorm practice. He can keep it in his guitar case and it is always at the ready. Don't expect a lot of power if you purchase this item, but it is enough for playing in close quarters such as a dorm room.

thats almost all there is to say i plugged it in and it cuts in and out you cant even hear what notes you're playing DON'T BUY THIS

The sound quality was bad. I would prefer to just hear my electric plugged into nothing. Got a HoneyTone mini amp from Danelectro and love that one.
