The video and photos taken were okay. I am not impressed with the Zoom. The lens cap keeps falling off. It does not come with an instruction book. You have to go on line (65 pages if you want to print it). You can download the "Vivitar Experience Image Manager" if you do facebook, etc. This camera is great for people who want to upload to YouTube, or facebook or any of the others such as MySpace, Photobucket, etc. I had to uninstall the software as I was not interested. I had a difficult time finding a second battery as the Vivitar site was not helpful. The camera does not have an internal memory so every time you remove the battery and replace it, you have to reset the date and time. You get what you pay for. I use it since I purchased it but I am not overly thrilled with it. I purchased this digital camcorder new from Amazon. There were no reviews written when I purchased it. It does come with a very nice case, battery, battery charger, and an SDHC 4 GB card. I could only give it a 3 star rating.
