Go ahead and buy if you don't mind buying another 2 months after your extended service contract expires. It's a piece of junk. Exactly 2 months to the day after the service contract expired the TV stopped working.Called the store we purchased it from they suggested we call Disney Electronics. Basically was told TOO BAD SO SAD. So now I have a really cute useless Cars decoration. Would never buy another.

My son recieved this TV as a gift for the holidays 2 years ago from his Aunt. Not even a year had passed by when the speakers stopped working. It was a TV that it was just used to watch movies, it wasnt connected to cable or being used to often. Cute product that is now seated in his room as decoration until we can afford to get him a new TV. (Of course wont be another of this ones). DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY,looks can be deceiving :)

I got this for my son for Christmas and figured this way he can watch his movies without taking up the tv in the house. There is just so many times i can watch toy story 1-3 and/or Despicable me over and over and over again. We set it up sat night while he was in bed (got a separate dvd player and hooked it up with it) and on sunday he noticed it in his playroom and did not leave his play room almost all day except to ask to switch dvds for him. i was able to clean the house for a change with him still awake. :D I was going to get the tv/dvd one but i heard so many bad reviews on how it over heats from the dvd player inside the television and remember when i was younger i had a vhs tv combo and it got kinda weird after a year so i thought maybe it was over heating so i decided on just the tv and got a standard dvd player from walmart ($20 bucks) this way i can put the player up high so he does not try to play with it and here he has his tv to watch. I love it and it fits with his boy themed room of toy story/cars/ and dinosaurs :D PS the eyes do not come with the tv. he sow the box and wonder where his eyes were hahaha

I bought this within less than a year and I thought it had a dvd player in it, turns out it didn't. I bought it from Kmart for my sons birthday at the end of May. Wasn't used that much.. Usually was just put on Nick Jr. and the channel was never changed.. Today my son was watching Mickey on it and came out screaming that a lighter blew up in it ( He is 3) There was some type of blow up and now the TV won't turn on or do anything.. I do NOT recommend this as it could have caight my house on fire.. I have seen other reviews talking about the TV just shutting off b/c of a voltage problem but mine never just shut off till it blew up inside today!! It's a waste of money and I wouldn't buy another one!!

We bought this tv a year ago and it turns off by itself when you are watching it. Now it does it so much as soon as I turn it on it turns off right away. Not only did I pay too much for this piece of junk now I have to pay to have the dump take it! DO NOT BUY!
