The DVR operating instructions are skimpy at best. There are no instructions on the use of the device, only photos of the unit and the names of the buttons, slots & components. Some are self-explanatory but others should have clarification. The enclosed brief instruction card needs to be read with a magnifying glass. I wonder about the legitimacy of the manufacturer since the box has no info on who makes it & where. There is no phone or Internet contact information on the box or on the instruction card.

Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the item.
