Jazz Pocket DV150 Digital Camera/Camcorder with 640 x 480

I paid a very low price for this, and I'm still disappointed. It even feels cheap and crappy. It looks like it might have come from a Happy Meal, except it's a little bigger than a normal Happy Meal toy. The main problem for me is that everything looks really dark in it. I took some video of my son playing in normal household lighting, and the only thing visible in the video is his white shirt. Everything else is black. So, I moved him to a brighter place, but still indoor lighting, and it was grainy and sepia-toned, which would be cool if that was the effect you wanted. The sound seems to be OK. I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting when I bought this for such a low price, but I guess I was expecting to have the subject matter at least be visible in ordinary household lighting (our house really isn't that dark, and I don't have any problems with shooting still photos with my regular digital camera in here). Yes, visibility of subject matter to me is kind of an important feature of a video camera.

Well i bought this at BIGLOTS for bucks and was really excited, you know. You NEED a SD CARD and BATTERIEs. Without them it wont even turn on. Yes even if you have batteries, it wont turn on without a card. sound is good but the picture SUCKS. You seriously need to be in front of a STRONG light sorce to get an OK image. Only buy this if you need it for a small thing or until you buy something better.

This is an awesome camcorder if all you want to do is make random videos that are not going to be really important. I make card trick videos and i personally like this very much because it suits my purpose. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars was because like the other dude said, the lighting REALLY sucks! Other than that, its awesome!

For the price and the number of functions and ease of use, it's perfect. I was dreading it, because I am legally blind and have Parkinson's Disease and was worried that I would find it frustrating or unusable. Imagine my relief when I found that not to be so. The software itself is not all that great, but I expected that. I can use YouTube to upload any videos and the still pictures are great. Thanks!
