Philips LFH-2330 Configurable USB Foot Control/Pedal (LFH2330)

Philips LFH-2330 Configurable USB Foot Control/PedalBeen using Philips Speech Exec software and hardware for several years. We added users and got new pedals for them to use. Whoever designed these obviously never sat down and did any actual transcription. These have a "new, ergonomic styling." Looks good performs horribly. There is no way to differentiate between the play, fast forward, and rewind pedals because they are all the same height. It is impossible to stay on the center play pedal without inadvertently ending up on one of the other pedals. They are so frustrating to use we tried to find another that would work with the Philips software, but seems you HAVE to use this pedal with the software. Philips was contacted but had no interest in remedying this situation.

We're experimenting with gluing a door stop on the center pedal so we can use these. There are five of us in this office and we all agree Philips failed miserably on this product. This dictation/transcription system is expensive ($300+): DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE PHILIPS SOFTWARE OR THEIR PEDALS.

I got one of these pedals to replace the very old pedal that the company I subcontract for had provided. It worked so well, I bought a second one, and now have the old one for a back-up if I ever need it. The two new pedals have worked very well for me.
