It was very hard to find a portable DVD player with HDMI output. We use the DVD player to project DVD's on our church projectors. We like the portable DVD because we can cue up the DVD before it is projected. This one worked great for us!

This RCA player delvers flawless, crisp video. Sound is so-so and volume is not high enough on full. Headphones solve this problem. Recharged battery life is short but car adapter is helpful. A great player for the money.

OK, I bought this fully knowing that it would accept DIVX inputs for the USB and SD Card. I hoped it would go ahead and take MP4, but alas, it doesn't. So I tried the VOB files onto the SD Card... no bueno. 1st, why would any video player not read MP4? 2nd, I did convert a movie to DIVX, but when plugged in, it said the resolution was not supported. It plays DVDs fine, but I'm needing to view everything off USB, SD, whatever. I don't want to carry around a bunch of DVD discs. Oh well, guess I'll box it up and send it back.

This is nice and convenient to use, it would have been great if he had wireless capability. Might have been better if I just bought a Kindle Fire!
