ARKON CMP205 Motorcycle and Bicycle Handle Bar Mount with 5 Inch flexible extension for Cameras wit

Tried this mount with a flipcam on a road bicycle. Probably not the right application for this product.

The clamp mount fit the top tube (which was the good news), however road vibration was too much for the mount to hold the camera steady at speed (the video was unusable).

Will try my luck with a non-flexible rigid handlebar mount next.

I have had several different camera holders mounted on my motorcycle over the years but this device does a better job than many more expensive models I have tried. It is simple to mount and simple to use and durable. One caution: Before mounting it on your motorcycle, take it apart and coat the threads on all bolts and screws with Loctite. Vibration will cause the none treated threads to loosen on a long road trip.

This mount lasted for only 3 rides and then it fell apart in my hands as I was trying to aim the camera and click a shot. Very flimsy and wobbly. Not good for video at all even if you have electronic stabilization. If you buy it, be sure to secure your camera so that it can't fall when the arm of this mount breaks on you. I was lucky I had the wrist strap interlocked around my rear view mirror. Otherwise it would have hit the pavement at 70 mph.

nice product, but not practical at all. Very shaky. No way to make it more stable. Very disappointed. I do not recommend it to anyone. $ 20 to throw out the window.
