I am happy with this product. It works very well considering the limitations of the audio in my 7D Canon camera. I still recommended using the original audio file from your recording device, I use the Sony PCM-D50. That being said, the file that you end up getting in the camera itself with this cable is impressively better then with the camera's build in mic.
