I needed to extend an existing CCTV run an additional 50' and used this wire for the additional cable run. No problems with any connections and do not notice any difference in video quality.

First this cable has a high quality outer coating that makes it ideal for out side and weathered conditions. Second the 18 gauge wire is a must for any application that exceeds 60ft.
Third if your going to go for the good cable don't go cheep with screw on BNC connectors. buy a good crimping tool and connectors. finely i won't do a security camera
