I have an Ipod touch 4 that I use for drum students as a source device for music,video's and such. This dvd/ipod player is super compact and works very well , it also charges the device! the hdmi output is handy , as well as the traditional outputs . It has been very durable so far.

The unit could not be controlled from the iPod directly rendering useless to me. I found that a cheap DVD player and hooking iPod using the phone jack on receiver did the same thing.

The iPhone dock doesn't work. Right out of the box it doesn't work. As in, you plug it in and it says it's not supported. It plays DVDs, but don't buy it if you want to use the iPhone feature.

The dvd player its self is nice for the price nothing special. When it comes to the ipod menu its real sluggish and lags out to the point you have to click to enter menus and scroll around, you'll find yourself mashing the buttons on the remote a doven times before you get any response. All in all its worth the 70$, cheap and it does the job.
