I Really REALLY Like this Model. It Is Very Simple and Easy to use.

I Like the Simple to use read and easy to understand LED display in the orange Color. Bright Bold Display Letters.

You can Easily swtch from DVD to VHS at the push of a button as they both share the same controls.

I Lost my remote a long time ago with this unit and Never really used it in the first place But It can be utilized to the fullest without the remote.

REcording VHS IS Easy.

The Unit is Very Fast and Responsive as far as opening a button presses and overall It "reacts" Quick.

I have read some bad reviews on this but I totally disagree.. Maybe only people who had bad luck with them dcided to write reviews but this is a DURABLE UNIT.. as the Kids Have dropped it Twice.. Stuck mcdonalds Ketchup packets inside (I had to dig them out) and IT still plays great.. IT Does Scratch Very Easily on the top.

I Would say that is the ONLY CON of this, The Upper Top of the player is Very susceptible to scratching and denting.. But That doesnt matter to me how it looks It has lasted through alot of abuse and still works.

EVEN MY MOTHER CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE THIS.. It really is great.. I bought the Silver Model that is SD-K220 But actually reads SD-K220U on the rear sticker, maybe this was an Upgrade.. and they made something better about them..?

BOTTOM LINE THIS THING IS STRONG, EASY TO USE, LOADS OF INPUTS AND OUTPUTS, and DOES THE JOB, AND HAS LASTED!

WOULD BUY ANOTHER IN a Second.. MY last Magnavox only last about 6months This is going on over a 1 1/12 of Abuse...lol

Well, I got this product as a gift, and it did work well for awhile. One day, about 2 months after I got it, I plugged the thing in and it just wouldn't turn on. I should've sent it back. What can I say, I was busy, I didn't have a receipt, I really wasn't thinking about it. I never dropped the thing, and I even opened it up to see if it was a busted fuse or something. Now I'm sure the warranty is expired. Sad thing is is that I can't even find any info about it on Toshiba's website, it's as if the thing doesn't exist to them.

So it's a neat concept, DVD/VCR, but buyer beware, it might fail after a bit. Maybe I'm a victim of planned obsolescence gone awry.
