The prongs on the product will not fit in any North American outlet I've ever seen. They are shaped exactly like the plastic thing you put in an outlet to keep babies out. The plug just falls out of the socket.

Only get this product if your AC adapter is faulty but you still have the electrical cords from Sony.

This is not a Sony product (it doesn't claim to be) and it's made in China. Buyer beware.

Still cheaper to get this ordered than to get Sony to fix it.

Review a power cord? Well it worked for the camera I purchased it for, and a year later is still doing the job! Would purchase from this company again.

I lost all my accessories for my Sony Handycam DCR-HC20, so I needed replacements. The Wasabi Power Adapter works fine as a replacement unit, although the materials feel a little cheap. I haven't noticed any flaws so far.
