1.8" FM MP4 Player/Recorder, 4 GB - Black

1.8' FM MP4 Player/Recorder, 4 GB - BlackI recently purchased this mp3 player and I just love it, I highly recommend it for people who like to have a lot in one place, u can see pictures, videos, listen to radio, of course to your own music, has speaker, and even a recording, the size of the screen is not that bad, and there are a lot of other options that you'll discover if u purchase it,

Why is it so hard for a company to include playlists? This is a nice little lightweight unit (although no beltclip, holder, strap or anything else) that has a standard USB interface for recharging and for file manipulation. It does NOT include any playlist capability which really detracts from the unit. It also has text storage why would someone want to use this to read text? Not real thrilled with the FM receiver kinda sucks. Controls tend to lock up. But I bought it to listen to music which is not BAD, but it is a shame to have all the bells and whistles in places I don't want. Definitely overpriced at $50 maybe $30.

don't bother getting this unless you just want something for your kid to play with. i bought it for my wife and it doesn't sort the music at all so it is always on random play and you have to scroll through your music one by one. navigation is poor and it freezes up all the time (to reset it you have to hold down menu and volume). the video quality is good as long as you get it in the right format and the built in speaker is nice but there are a lot better players out there if it is intended to be used everyday get a better mp3 player.

I use a SONY as a primary mp3 player (after buying an IPOD, getting annoyed with the thing within 5 hours, then returning it for the sony), but wanted an extra one to keep more songs in. Saw this in the store for about 40 bucks--holds 4gbs of music so....

It is easy to load--just "drag and drop"--thing does load the songs slower than other mp3 players, tough. The menu? Well, it could be easier, but if you sit there for a few minutes when you first get the player, you'll learn it...Only thing, though, if looking thru the contents of your folders, the song titles don't scroll--Will only do it if you select to play the song--then you can see the whole song title...

I'm not using this thing for video or pics, but, I must say, I watched some of the sample video that comes with the player just to check it out--the picture on this thing is REALLY GREAT for such a small device...

I also tried the FM radio--It picks up a ton of stations---BUT, you must use it with the headphones--they act as its antenna--You won't get a thing on the FM dial if you wanted to play it thru the device's built in speaker...oh well!

The unit's casing is all metal BUT, I don't like the display covering--it can be pressed on and goes in--it's not solid--so be careful--it's not a very durable device--best to use just hooked up to a home or car stereo....

All in all--SO FAR SO GOOD!I've seen real good reviews and some horrible ones, too..But currently, it is working well...

UPDATE! I loaded about 15 more cds on this thing 6 months later, and the file function on this thing got fried--i could only hit the forward or backward buttons to get to other tracks--couldn't select an album via folders=making this a useless 4gb mp3 player...

I'll only buy sandisk Sansa Fuze+ 4 GB MP3 Player (Black) or SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 4 GB MP3 Player (Black) going forward!

Excellent product and works very well. Very happy with the sounds and the versitility of this mp3 player. Lots of functions and an excellent product. Only thing that could be better is the controls could be a little more intuituve. Otherwise great.
