I purchased this item in November, 2010, but had to wait until February of 2011 to receive it, but it was worth it!. The manual isn't that great, but it does help get the unit up and running. The remote works great and it comes with a battery and headphones. The reception with a tv antenna is great; the color is clear and crisp. The dvd player works great. The radio also works well. The antenna which comes attached is not enough to pick up digital tv signals; you must but a tv (rabbit ears) antenna to scan and receive digital tv signals. Buy a small tv antenna; they are available if you plan to use it at work, as I do. General Electric sells antennas of all sizes which are available at Target. That is where I bought a very small one for only $11.00. The unit comes with headphones. It takes one minute to plug in the antenna into the external antenna socket. It was worth the money.

Too complicated to "program". You want to be able to plug in and turn on picking either radio, tv, dvd, etc. You need to connect to cable or some kind of antenna to get tv working. Too many plugs which to not stay connected. BIG PROBLEM WITH PLUGS ANY TIME YOU MOVE UNIT. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Purchased this as a birthday present for my wife and she loves it.

You have to read the manual for operating directions some of the controls and menus are not very obvious.

Once you get it set up it does everything as advertised. The picture on this little cheap unit is excellent (much better than expected). The sound quality has the nerve to be pretty good. I wont boast on how good this unit really is because they might raise the price. If you're looking for a small set to put on your desk or use on the go, I think you will be pleased with this. It's well worth the money.

I just took my new combo player out of the box and it fired right up. Upon inspection of all the parts I noticed that there were 2 things wrong. 1) The DVD screen has 2 imperfections that are not acceptable IMO and 2) The battery that is included was CORRODED! YIKES!?!? I am sending this entire unit back and getting another one. I will update once the new one is received.

With the exception of those two issues, I do like the player. It's size is perfect for the small space I have to place it and the sound/radio reception/picture is great (with the exception of the above mentioned spots). The only thing I would "complain" about regardless of the condition of the next machine, is the hum of the spinning disk...it's loud...so it kinda forces you to turn up the volume to drowned out the unwanted background noise. Oh well...Still love it for my twins room. They can listen to praise music and watch baby signing videos while I do laundry and clean up around the house ;)

I hate to say this, but I was so pleased with the item until 3 months later it broke down. This boombox fulfilled all my needs. I bought it on March and on the 3rd week of May a speaker stopped working. I left it as is because the sound was still loud for just one speaker to be working . . . but then the next week my MP3 CD wasn't playing, and the screen was white. I asked my next door neighbor, and without opening the inside he said that when these things appear it means the mother-chip blasted (or something like that.)So, can someone tell me what can I do? I remember the box said it had warranty, but who do I send it to? (the seller or the Manufacturer)I just want another one exactly like it. Help!
