Product is as advertised and works well. Wish it came in a 1gb version as well. Product was easy to install and the power switch option is easy to use. Would like the RJ45 ports rotated 180 degrees. When you mount the unit to a flat surface it is very difficult to press the tab to extract the cable. In the opposite configuration you would have very easy access to the release tab of the connector.
Not a teckie... but works just fine.. been using for about 1 year. I would buy another one when I expand the system

The RJ-45's bring upside down was my only problem.That and both of cords can be hard to tuck kept the product from 5 stars.

Wanted to mount an IP camera way up on a wall (about 20' up) and running a little ethernet cable is way easier and safer than running a power feed up for a wireless cam (which provides better throughput and then you're not "wasting" your wifi bandwidth, either!), and this is the perfect solution.
Ports are switchable (PoE on/off) so you're not limited to PoE usage only.
This switch also provides nice high wattage per port (If you're looking at other switch options, make sure you'll be able to power all of your devices to the required wattage).
