Square Perfect 30 Inch Light Tent Photo Cube Softbox with 4 Colored Backgrounds For Product Photogr

Square Perfect 30 Inch Light Tent Photo Cube Softbox with 4 Colored Backgrounds For Product Photographyi really like this product. its very useful and its very big! i was expecting it to be smaller. the only reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the backdrops don't completely fit. the Velcro straps should be placed outward more. its not a huge problem though. great product for the money!

This light tent is compact, easy to set up and works very well. I like the size to handle small and medium sized items without taking up a ton of tabletop space or storage space. You can't make anything that works better or is any cheaper. You can't expect a folded insert to be free of wrinkles upon purchase. Just iron or steam and your set. There are probably better light tents, but nothing in this price range/value.

This light tent is great. Good size and the inserts work well. I've used a steam iron to remove the wrinkles from the inserts.

Terrific Product, especially for the money!

Does all I expected and more!

Ample size, fine translucency, easy to "pop up" and use.

My only anxiety is in closing this light tent flat (to its smallest size) after use.

I can get the first reduction fold ok, its the SECOND FOLD (the one that takes it to the size needed to fit in the storage bag) that FREAKS ME OUT!

It feels like its either gonna snap in my hands, or pop open and take out an eye!

Fortunately neither has happened... yet. I'll update you if it happens.

Oh and for the folks having trouble with the wrinkled color backdrops that so conveniently come with this tent, I found that a $30 clothes steamer takes the wrinkles right out (and while you've got up a "head of steam" hit your cotton shirts and shorts too).

If you are needing to take photos of small to medium sized objects (and your'e not fearful of physical injury while folding it) get this light tent ...now!

Zmodo 8CH Video DVR Security Surveillance Camera System with 4 CCTV IR Outdoor Surveillance Black C

Zmodo 8CH Video DVR Security Surveillance Camera System with 4 CCTV IR Outdoor Surveillance Black Cameras - 500GB HDThis DVR works really well. I purchased one as a gift and one for myself a few weeks ago. They've both been running and recording continuously for 2 weeks. The user interface on the DVR is very simple and easy to use, unlike some other DVR brands that have a poorly designed user interface. The remote pc and mobile phone interface also works great. This DVR allows you to set up recording on all cameras at the D1(highest cctv) resolution, but you have to adjust the frame rate depending on how many cameras are recording. On one system, I have 6 cameras recording continuously at D1, with 5 cameras at 10 frames/sec and 1 camera at 19 frames/sec. If I added a couple more cameras, I'd have to reduce the frame rate a little on each camera to still record at the D1 resolution. All-in-all, a great system for the price.

I have had this product about a month, every thing working as its supposed to. Very easy to set up had to buy extra length wire as included wire (60') not long enough for 2 cameras. Great quality pictures & good infared night vision. Great addition to anyones home security system.Still has room on DVR for 3 more cameras & PTZ camera .

Buy Zmodo 8CH Video DVR Security Surveillance Camera System with 4 CCTV IR Outdoor Surveillance Black C Now

Should have done some more research before purchasing. Works fine but the cameras are very low end and have a very limited range at night. If you are just looking for a basic system this will work for you. FYI the networking instructions are horrible!!!! You better be somewhat IT savy!

Q-See 8-channel Surveillence System 8 CCD Cameras w/ 40 Ft. Night Vision H.264 DVR w/ 500GB HDD Rem

Q-See 8-channel Surveillence System 8 CCD Cameras w/ 40 Ft. Night Vision H.264 DVR w/ 500GB HDD Remotely Monitor via PC and 3G Smartphone QS408 + QSDS14273X8I bought the QT4 from Costco to be used as home video surveillance. Depending on how many features you want to use, it will take you hours if not days to setup it up. The manual leaves some important information out regarding port forwarding. The dvr address (i.e. 192.168.0.100) does not always show up in your router listing so you must remember to enter it manually. The manual leaves that important step out. Also, port 80 is usually blocked by most ISPs such as Charter so I used 82.

Technical support is some of the worst I have ever experienced. They don't they even know how their product works. You will never be able to talk to them. Your only hope is to chat and even then, the technical support person will try to pawn you off on someone else when he or she does not know the answer.

If you want to access your dvr from your Blackberry, you can only do it if you leave the default passoword at 123456. It took three days before I finally got a tech guy to tell me that. The guy before him told me there must be something wrong with my Blackberry. Supposedly there is a fix due in 2011.

Now I am able to access dvr from anywhere on the Internet including my Blackberry plus it emails me pics when the motion is detected. The system is finally somewhat usable.

Sony ICD-P520 Digital Voice Recorder with 256 MB Built-in Flash Memory and USB

Sony ICD-P520 Digital Voice Recorder with 256 MB Built-in Flash Memory and USBFor a small recorder, this does a good job, I think that this is a good deal. The price was good and the quality of the unit is better than I was expecting.

I use the recorder to record an open meeting and the pickup is great, I can record someone from across the room as well as someone close by. The software is easy to use and this permits burning to a CD a snap

I bought this recorder as a quick replacement after I lost my Olympus on a trip. The Olympus was so much better for my use. As a student, I like to record lectures and notes and burn CD's to review as I drive. The trouble with the Sony is the complicated software that comes with it. Sony corp is so concerned about music rights that they have made it a nightmare for the user to burn CDs from recordings that they have made themselves. Forget drag and drop into your your preferred software(like the Olympus.)With the Sony you must bow three times, kiss the ground and use their proprietary burn program and format--with no guarantees that the CD will play back on you chosen CD player. On the up side, the sound quality is very good for such a small recorder. Its just a real clunker once you try to do anything more than record. I just ordered another Olympus.

Buy Sony ICD-P520 Digital Voice Recorder with 256 MB Built-in Flash Memory and USB Now

I bought this to record my lectures and I was pleasantly surprised! It can hold up to 130 hours on the LP setting and 24 hours on HQ setting, which is nice if you go to lecture a few times a week.

I find that the recorder is very sensitive, so you might want to put a notebook or jacket underneath it otherwise it'll pick up noises from you moving or someone walking by.

The recorder has 4 folders, which I use for separating my classes (that way you know which lecture is in which folder). The menu gives an option to display the time, date, how much recording time is left, or how many minutes you've recorded.

Also, the recorder comes with software and USB cable that's very easy to install and use. All you do is install the program, hook up the recorder to the PC and it'll download all your files! You even have an option of converting the files to mp3 wav. files.

One thing about the software, though: it doesn't run on Macs.

The battery that comes with the recorder will last for a while but if you use it a lot, I'd recommend rechargable batteries.

Overall, it's a very sturdy, neat recorder and it's very easy to use!

The recorder is of a nice compact size and manages to pick up a decent range of sound (i.e. I can record lectures from the 5th row, rather than placing it up on the podium next to the professor). However this product is in no way shape or form compatible with Mac. That should be in big bold letters under the product description. I had to load the software and recordings onto my roommate's computer.

Want Sony ICD-P520 Digital Voice Recorder with 256 MB Built-in Flash Memory and USB Discount?

I bought this recorder after reading positive reviews of the product on Circuit City's website.

I like the small and discrete size, fits easily on the half desk prominent in most colleges and into my bag. The software is very easily and quick to install and use, windows only I believe. The four folder function is nice for the number of classes the average students take and for organizational purposes. I already have rechargeable batteries so battery consumption is not a problem for me. Audio playback is good on both the product's speakers and using headphones, probably best when downloaded onto the computer though.

I can record a lecture in a large 200+ people auditorium from the very back of the classroom (literally) on HQ mode! Although it should be noted that the professor has a microphone but the speakers are location in the front of the room and the speaker is very soft spoken. I would recommend the Sony ICD-P520 DVR.

Xerox Phaser 6500N Laser Printer-Color-600x600dpi Print-Plain Paper Print-Desktop-24ppm Mono/24ppm

Xerox Phaser 6500N Laser Printer-Color-600x600dpi Print-Plain Paper Print-Desktop-24ppm Mono/24ppm Color Print-250 sheets Input-LCD-Gigabit Ethernet-USBI like this printer. It is replacing a Laser Jet 2600n that is showing its 7 or 8 year age. The printing is great. The price was good ( caveat I haven't had it long enough to buy toner which can be pricey ). However, ...

The setup process is awkward and not helped by the fact that the only documentation you get in the box is a large ( 19 inch x 25 inch ), multilingual ( 15 EU language ) two sided sheet of paper with diagrams that can be difficult to interpret. There simply isn't enough text there to clarify what some of the diagrams are trying to tell me. Since I make my living supporting complex software on UNIX and Windows I have lots of experience with interpreting software manuals. Diagrams and hardware however are not my strong point. There are 12 short sentences to give you an idea of what these diagrams are intended to represent. After a lot of comparing diagram to printer, trying to figure out how to open some of the component or get at some of the ports, I was eventually successful. A bit more text and a bit less white space would have simplified this process significantly.

The print output is great. The text is crisp, clean and very true to the fonts that I have run through the printer. The graphics are spectacular. I printed a picture taken on my Panasonic Lumix FZ-40 on a regular sheet of paper. The color match was impressive. It looked more like a professionally developed photo than something printed on regular paper with a laser printer. I did not specifically measure the time taken to print either text or graphics. Text seemed satisfactorily fast and the graphics time was better than the LaserJet 2600n.

The bottom line is that this printer gives impressive performance at a bargain price. If the installation process were better documented, I would rate this at 5 stars. If that is not an impediment for you, consider it a 5 star printer. However, keep in mind that I have not attempted to buy supplies. You are looking at mail order since your average local store is not going to carry toner for your Xerox Phaser 6500N.

Q-See QSTD2408-500 8-Channel H.264 CIF Real-time Recording DVR with Mobile Phone Surveillance, Remo

Q-See QSTD2408-500 8-Channel H.264 CIF Real-time Recording DVR with Mobile Phone Surveillance, Remote Internet Monitoring and Pre-Installed 500GB HDDOverall this is a nice product. There are somethings that will make you want to run to the nearest medicine cabinet and pull out the asprin but overall the DVR works as advertised.

CONS:

1. Noisy, if you planned on placing this somewhere in the open plan on hearing it run, the fan is very noisy. Not a problem for my installation as it is in an area which I seldom enter.

2. Big. The unit is larger (Depth) than some others but again not a big issue if you have the room for it.

3. Manual. Ok, this will make you run and buy another bottle of asprin. The manual is written in an "interesting" fashion. You can download a copy of it from the Q-See website if your interesting in seeing it before you buy it. Most of the setup is easy, you may have some problems with the internet portion, but most teenagers should be able to get that hooked up for you in no time.

4. Mouse could be alot better quality than what they put, but with the cost of a good mouse being as low as they are not really a problem overall. Mouse is USB by the way.

PROS:

1. Handles the inputs of both PAL and NTSC without problems (yes, only one type at a time and you can not mix them but most people do not worry about that so pretty much a non issue).

2. Is 110/220 volt. Nice for those who may move around alot or live outside the USA.

3. Good quality recording, monitoring and overall video feed. The live view has a very slight delay but nothing to really worry about. The recording comes out a very good quality. Have not been able to test all 8 cameras at same time yet but will update when I can for now this comment is based on 5 cameras at once.

Overall I would give this a 4 as the item works exactly as advertised.

great product! our DVR died and as soon as we plug this in, it started working. excellent picture!!!

con: noise... not a problem if you put it under the table... however, if its on the table, it is noisy.

mouse came dead.. used a spare usb mouse

iphone driver needs to be downloaded from istore (for free though).

pro: easy interface, great picture, 500gb hd is awesome for about 2 weeks worth of recording. option to recycle hd automatically.

viewing option: 3x3,2x2,1x1

good remote control

ability to add extra sata harddrive easily via a server like slot

ability to add esata hd

internet viewing works great

I had a professional install the cameras, power supply and DVR. That's probably the way to go. The unit works very well. It is noisy, but I think they're probably all noisy. Install the unit in a room you don't sleep in.

Besides having a professional install the system, I recommend you make sure it's on a surge protector w/ some battery backup AND that the location to access the DVR is in a lockable/secure closet. The area probably also needs decent air circulation/cooling.

What I like:

1. It is reliable. Knock on wood... Q-see has worked through all kinds of stuff including a few power outages. It's on usually 24-7 and hasn't let me down yet.

2. It works well with a variety of cameras. I bought different types of cameras...the picture is as clear as I would expect etc. Only one camera caused problems, but it's the brand of camera...not the Q-see.

3. I can hook up the DVR to my projector or a variety of PC monitors. The DVR has many connections including the video connections via a "round" serial port, which a lot of "newer" machines do not have. But my projector (another rock solid purchase, knock on wood) was only 400 bucks five years ago at Home Depot, and it STILL works gang-busters. I'm not getting rid of it just because I need an new-fangled video connection.

4. "Programming" is easy Customizing the sensitivity and alarms for various motion triggers on the cameras is EZ! I am pleased with the features.

5. Internet access works You need to use IE, but viewing the cameras and recordings and setting features works well through the Activex interface. My only issue is the firewall at work...

To make setup even easier, Qsee's website now has port-forwarding instructions. Setting up the internet access is a little "trial and error" but that's the fault of firewalls and routers. The only teensy issue w/ Qsee itself is that I need to restart to have the port-changes "stick."

Great instruction booklet. Yep customer service is not "babysitting" but the DVR is well-designed and relatively simple to use, it's a non-issue for me.

I have gotten the product. It seem to do what it is suppose to do. The user interface design is something to be desired, but the product is functional and does what it says it does.

Mine has a few hardware problems. The remote does not work. The case fan is really loud. Channel 3 does not work must be a solder or component problem. Channel is a bit lose.

These should be minor problems to fix; however, since I have had no luck contacting support via phone or internet, I am a bit dissappointed. I would probably rate this a 4 if it had no problems or if support had been responsive.

Shipping from amazon was great! Price was great!

Purchased the item. Great service from Amazon and it arrived quickly. Product is absolute junk and a waist of money as it will not record with consistency. Perhaps I got a lemon. It will only record between 11 17 seconds, and then stops recording....totally frustrating!!!!!

The advertisement was to good to be true, so don't be fooled by the items advertisement as it does not work. Directions are complete crap and very vague! Went to review the 11 17 second clips that it did record, but could only see 5 seconds of the recording before getting an error message. Used and 8 gig mini HCSD, so size should not be the issue. Very disappointed with the product.

I bought one last week. It arrived very quickly. I tested it immediately after I got it. The manual is very simple. So it took me a while to figure out how to use it. The main problem for this product is that the quality of the acquired image is very very poor. The image is totally blurred, no matter whether the objects are far or close. After I played it for half an hour, I decided to return it.

I took a chance and purchase this item. It was worth it. I am using a 32GB Micro SD card have it set to record @ 5 minutes intervals.

I am very please with this item. I would not recommend for night use due to the fact that the LED light are very bright and would be an distraction to un-coming traffic.

Other than that the quality is not HD but you can't get anything with a better price budget.

I concur with the previous review that camera will stop recording in 15 seconds to 4 minutes depending on Loop setting if the camera sees no motion (this is a separate issue from Motion Detection setting). I spent many hours of trial and error to get around this bug and could not do it. No documentation on Motion Detection and Gsensor setup options. Another example was Loop recording options were 1,2,3 minutes not 5,10,15 minutes as stated in the poorly written manual. I had version 1.00 of the firmware (2012/11/13). Camera has potential; the image quality was good for a $55 camera at all the selectable resolutions. I bet version 2.00 will work. Returned it.

Very pleased with price and quality of the item but... it doesn't come with the cables that are required to connect the blu ray player to the sound system. This was a Christmas gift. After it was installed and we played a new movie, the speakers began to hum after 30 minutes of it being on. We turned everything off, and back on and it did it again. So we then reinstalled, and just turned the amp on, it is the amp. The amp is crappy and not worth the money. Also does not have any inputs to connect other things into it. I am very displease with this product and would not recommend it to anyone.

When I purchased this home theater system, there were few reviews available. I purchased it because I needed a new set home theatre system to watch my blu ray DVDs on and did not have much money to spend. I set this up and while I was not completely satisfied (the highest volume was still too low, slow loading time), the product was working fine. Then, however, the DVD player started turning on and off by itself as if it were possessed. Mind you, the return period window had just expired by one week when this started happening. I could not use this product at all. I then came here to write this review and have since found several new reviews complaining of similar problems.

This product is fundamentally defective and I do not recommend it. While the return period had expired, I took my chances sending it back to Amazon with the hopes of receiving a partial refund (I still had the box in which the product arrived). I was expecting to receive next to nothing but I really wanted this defective product out of my sight and out of my home. Thankfully, I returned it to Amazon.com and received a very generous partial payment, which was very close to the price I had paid for it (since I selected free shipping). I thought I would be out of luck (and out of $140 for good) but Amazon helped me tremendously. I suggest those who are disappointingly stuck with this defective product do the same. Thank you Amazon.

Nokia C3 Prepaid GoPhone (AT&T) with $30 Airtime Credit

Nokia C3 Prepaid GoPhone with $30 Airtime CreditThe Nokia C3 is a solid, well performing mobile device. I needed a phone that could make texting easy, and the combination of the firm QWERTY keyboard and large space-bar makes it ideal. Call quality is good. This phone is a great value if you're looking to get rid of a $50-$70 monthly plan. AT&T offers the best prepaid plan rates of all the major networks, and the $30 airtime card included with this phone gives you 300 minutes from the start.

I love this phone, it's easy to use and has all the features i need. The service was fast. I ordered this phone on March 30th and got on April 3rd. It takes nice pictures and has video. The keys are a nice size. so you fellows will find this easy to use. This is a great deal

I recently went through quite the ordeal of upgrading my flip phone to one more text friendly. The thing was, I couldn't hear or be heard when I was using the device as a phone. So back to square one, I found this phone on-line and after reading the reviews that talked about the clear calls it made, decided to buy it. I have not been disappointed. Great reception, seamless airtime credit added to my existing account, easy to understand features, etc. only reason I didn't give it five stars is the keyboard is a bit clunky feeling and the pads are easy to "double click", so lots of mis-sppellings!

Xitel INport Deluxe

Xitel INport DeluxeI love the InPort Deluxe. Set up was a glitch-free breeze, and the included software (LP Recorder, DeClick, LP Ripper) work exactly like I'd hoped. Pretty intuitive, not too many parameters and options to cause confusion. Sounds very nice, probably better than the original record once you declick it.

The DeClick program does indeed work very well. I prefer to set the LP Recorder level manually, rather than using the Auto Level feature. This is because when listening to an LP MP3 file next to a CD MP3 file on my MP3 player, the Auto Level record feature causes the LP files to be a little softer than the CD files. Setting the LP Recorder level manually to "39" creates LP MP3's that are the same volume as CD MP3's for me. I detect no clipping using this record level.

Although I have 1400 CD's, I still have 700 LP's. A significant portion of my LP's are still not available on CD. I'm tired of waiting for the record companies. This product allows me to bring my remaining LP collection into the 21st Century. I'm now having lots of fun with this product, listening to my LP's at the gym on my MP3 player, and burning them onto CD's for the car.

InPort Deluxe met all of my requirements, exceeded my expectations, and I would recommend it to anyone who still has a pile of vinyl or cassettes.

I bought this elsewhere but checked after I bought it on Amazon for opinions before I opened the package. I need to transfer a large collection of 45 and 33 RPM records to CD's. I am using a Technics turntable and a Steinberg preamp to feed the unit. It works great!! As for the software it does a good job of recording, cleaning up the noise and clicks and ripping to individual tracks. I have run the software on Windows XP Pro and currently am running it under the Vista Operating System. Everything is compatible and works fine. The documentation is fine and I was up and running in 20 minutes.

I would recommend this product without reservation.

Buy Xitel INport Deluxe Now

I set up my Xitel Inport Deluxe (received as a gift) yesterday and recorded and saved a recording of a two sided LP record. The process went very smoothly after in initial learning period and I got no errors at any point. The software that comes with the Inport does exactly what it is supposed to do if one follows the documentation carefully. I was especially impressed with the ability to remove pops and clicks (present with most older LP records) from the recorded wav files. The most difficult part of the process is learning to use the feature which splits the large single wav file into separate recorded tracks which correspond to the songs on the LP. Once I understood that it went smoothly.

The most time consuming part of the whole process is simply recording the whole LP record side which obviously must be played from beginning to end while Inport records. Once that's done, processing of the file, removing pops and clicks, and splitting and finally renaming tracks into the original song titles went pretty fast. Those tracks of course can be saved on your hard drive and, if you wish, burned to a CD-ROM (using other software supplied by the user) which I did.

Finally I can permanently preserve some really old jazz and classical recordings that probably are no longer available anywhere. I'm REALLY impressed with the Inport Deluxe Kit!

Update after re-booting my computer, for some reason this thing now works great! I still re-clean the files with the MAGIX software, but the sound quality is near CD quality. Still an extra step, but WOW!!! I Highly recommend this product!!!

For the last 2 years I have used MAGIX Audio lab to record my extensive vinyl collection into mp3's. But when I saw this product, I thought it might be better than the MAGIX solution. The MAGIX product allows you to clean and master the files before exporting as mp3's or to a CD. That's a double-edged sword; if you tamper with the files too much you lose quality.

I thought this product, with its promise of 1-click cleaning would be my answer. The product was up and running very quickly, and I chose a relatively old album to test. The album was not in excellent condition, but was far from terrible.

The recording was smooth; however, the de-clicking software (Wave corrector) only removed a small portion of the vinyl noise. So, I tried again, using a more sensitive setting. Still, the recording sounds just like the album clicks, pops and all. NOT what I would call a "CD Quality" version, as promised on the box.

I like the INPort device, however. It allows you to bypass your computer's sound card, which does give you a more faithful representation of the recording. For that purpose alone I am giving it 3 stars.

I had to use my MAGIX software to re-clean the WAV file before I could export it. One additional step, but at least the recording came out sounding crisp and clean.

If you are a discerning listener and audiophile, this product is not for you. This will not really make your vinyl sound CD quality. Sorry, but it doesn't deliver on that promise...

I purchased this for the sole purpose of transfering tapes onto cds. The tapes are roughly 25 years old and are of artists that are not considered mainstream so finding cds of these groups are very hard to find. Having played with the program a few times I got the hang of it and the three steps are easy to do. The cd I just burned sounded great and a family member couldn't believe that it was a copy from a tape.

There is a two things laptops owners should know before purchasing this. I found this information in the troubleshooting section.

1. No other programs should be running and that includes virus checking programs. (This effects the data flow)

2. The data flow can be severely effected by the power management of the CPU.

I didn't read the manual to the end. So the first time I used the program I found that there was a humming sound in the background of the recording. When I used the de-click program it found over 200,000 clicks. After reading over the troubleshooting guide I realized that those two things may have affected the recording. After turning off the virus protection program (wasn't connected to the internet) and adjusting the power management I re-recorded the tape and didn't hear the humming like I did before and the de-click program only found like 8,000 clicks. Even though the number of clicks were high it clean it up nicely. Overall it is a good program to use and will be well used.

Lexar Media 256MB Memory Stick Duo Pro MSDP256-331

Lexar Media 256MB Memory Stick Duo Pro MSDP256-331i used this one for the psp, and it works fine, however, if you don't know about media, you get less storage than it is labeled as, you actually get 227mb of storage instead of 256. anyway, the adapter works fine, and will works with my vaio PC, however, some say the new memory stick pro does not work with the slot on the vaio, just simply download a driver off the sony site to read the MS pro. great product except it is black not white (i think the white is more stylish).

How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.

The Lexar Media 256MB Memory Stick Duo Pro MSDP256-331, like most 256MB cards, will store on average 284 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 213 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 128 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 102 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 80 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.

I truly hope this review was helpful to you in determining whether this card is the right capacity for your specific needs.

Sakar 32070 Crayola Digital Camcorder Green

Sakar 32070 Crayola Digital Camcorder GreenThis was probably the best present my son got. He has carried it around for days. The video quality is suprisingly good for the price of this camcorder. I have yet to check out the software, but the videos have no problems uploading to my computer. We have posted all videos to www.youtube.com. Search for jpragusa, and those are all videos taken on this camera. I would reccomend getting an sd card with this as well. we got a 4gb and have not run into any storage problems.

I had my reservations about this product since it got mixed reviews, but since I have had good luck with Crayola standing behind their products, I decided to purchase it through Amazon. I bought this for my son's birthday in January, and when he opened it, we found that the sound did not work. Called the 800# service, which is not Crayola and they said they would send another camera out within 6 weeks! It finally came after about that long, and that one did not have sound either!! I was furious to wait so long, and still get another lemon. I called again and given the same story. We are still waiting for the 3rd camera. Meanwhile, they told us to keep the other 2 defective ones. The video portion works, and the sound does play back when you download to a computer, but not when you playback on the camera which is what a kid loves to do play it back after they've made a video. If this one doesn't work, I am done, and will demand my $ back. Now 2 months after his birthday, my son still does not have a working camera. Very Disappointing. Next time I would spend more for a better product.

purchased this product for grandson this christmas. ONE WEEK is all it lasted... I must add he is not rough on anything and was initially overjoyed and now disappointed that it no longer works. I intially was impressed with the camera for the price it was great and all that a 7 year old needs. The camera view screen just went white.. still made little noises when you pushed the buttons but thats all it does.

I also must add tech support was great, I am sending it back to company with reciept and they promised to send a new one out as soon as they recieved this one. SOOO, I cannot complain about their warranty or tech support at all. Will update on longevity of second one.

My original review: My 7-yr old daughter got this for Christmas. I was leary at what the quality would be, as I couldn't find any reviews before Christmas. I have to say that I'm very impressed with this item! My daughter loves it! It's easy for her to use. The software was very simple to load & learn on the computer. She's had a blast uploading her movies & photos & editing them with the program. I was also worried that the batteries wouldn't last long, but they've been fine. The sound isn't fantastic (picks up her voice when she's filming, but hard to hear anyone else), but she doesn't mind! So, overall I'm very happy with this product. I sure would've loved to have something like this when I was a kid! Who would've ever thought...?

My updated review (11/18/09): This didn't last long at all. It stopped working pretty quickly (screen wouldn't work). I have just contacted the company to see about getting it replaced within the warranty. So, the price was great when it worked, but now, if it's not replaced, it was a lot of money for nothing!

This seemed like a great idea. The screen started going gray on day 2, but would come on again when shut off and restarted. By day 5 the LCD didn't work at all. Customer service at the manufacturer (which is not crayola) was slow to deliver the address to send it back since the plastic packaging didn't survive opening.

CiragoTV Platinum CMC3200 Network HD Multimedia Center with a 2 TB HD and Built-In Card Reader for

CiragoTV Platinum CMC3200 Network HD Multimedia Center with a 2 TB HD and Built-In Card Reader for Easy AccessI have had this for about 4 months now and believe I have found any flaws that may exist with it. But first the good. It plays anything, I have over 2 TB in movies with files of every type. I have not ran across anything that won't play. I pull from a NAS and over a domain with authentication and it works fine in this environment. Have used wireless (n) and wired with no lag in video. I have used a USB drive to play movies from and copy movies from to my NAS all very effortlessly. I use the 2TB drive on it to backup other files from my network as I have the NAS for a file sharing resource I have no need for the space onboard. I have tried to record TV and it works good enough but really it's not a feature I am interested in so it does not get used much. The design of the box looks good but also has an out of the way appearance to it. I use it every day to watch movies on or play music through and I am happy with it. I have used this to replace out an Archos 5 with a docking station and going from that to this has been a very good experience as the Archos was VERY temperamental and it would lock up just by looking at it and it finally died via HD that was proprietary to the device. I have not had this Caraigo lock up, not even once as some of you may know that it can really spoil a nice movie night and is very important to me. I also have not used this for any web based features like youtube.com I see the advantage of this being on the TV but the remote would make surfing the web agonizing. It does not generate too much heat or noise though you can hear the HD spin up from time to time.

Now the bad. As mentioned earlier the remote, were to begin. It's a very bad design I have gotten use to it but it really is no good. It needs a keyboard for a device like this to make all the tasks quicker like typing in file names and logging into resources on a secure domain. It's one of those remotes that you have to aim directly at the device or it will not work. The buttons are poorly designed and need to be rethought. The play, pause, stop buttons (which you use the most) are very small and insignificant looking. Almost like there a feature that will not be used that much. It takes some time to get use to this. The caraigo displays the current directory in a narrow view so you can't see the whole file name. You have no way to go straight to a file by searching or selecting a letter to take you to that section. FFwd and Rewind are only in steps of 32x so it can take some time to get to the middle of a movie if you want. If you are interested in recording TV it will not record in HiDef as it only has RCA in to the Caraigo.

I have two of these and am happy with them. I would buy them again if given the chance, though I would like to give the WD version a go as well to see how it compares. I would recommend these to my less technical friends as I feel it is easy enough to use and versatile enough to fit most needs. If they would fix the remote I would give this a 5 star.

Updated review: After 5 weeks of use the first GS1000 dashcam that I bought has failed, and the second has arrived essentially inoperable. I'll be returning both.

The first now shows a permanent spinning wheel "wait" icon when I try to access the menu, and halts recording and reboots after about 5 seconds. (It'll happily sit there without recording, but that's not very useful.)

The second unit, ordered under the same item # and title as the first, arrived with a different box, different fonts on the unit, a different, far inferior suction cup material (black hard-ish plastic), and different menu prompts. I can't assess whether it records properly because the suction cup won't hold it to a clean windshield for more than 5 seconds. Useless.

Where do I start...let's start with the good part:

(1) it has integrated GPS which most cameras of this kind do not have.

< END OF GOOD PART >

Now the reality about this cheap so called car dvr:

1) GPS (although integrated ) do not work all the time basically it shows the same speed all the time on the .MOV files; the ONLY time I saw a GPS fix was in the parking lot

2) it overheats really bad and no, there was no sunny day, and the temp outside was at around 45 F

3) the card gets filled real fast in about 2-3 hrs a 32 GB card gets filled on 1080

4) there is no loop recording once the card is full there is a max. of 15 min loop and that is it no warning at all

5) autostart does not work camera needs to be manually switched on/off

6) there is no backup battery or mine did not work right out of the box

7) there is no way the files will be played on Google maps the software crashes each time on Windows XP and 7

8) the manual on the disk for the software and the decoder is in Chinese (!!!)

9) shall I continue... ? I think you got the idea so far....

Mine is now in the box returning to vendor.

This item sounds great, but I am giving up on trying to get it to work. The manual is impossible to follow. I have dealt with translated Chinese before, but this is bad. I figured out how to get it working and recorded a drive today, but cant get the files to play. In addition, the 32G SDHC card that Amazon calls "frequently bought together" doesn't even fit in the device. You need a TF card which is much smaller. I suggest that you find a different DVR to buy.

Excellent Camara, English menu, easy to use, 100% customizable, high quality video and audio, start with the ignition of the car and off when you turn off the vehicle. Highly recommended! Great Buy!

(Update) I have two days to have the camera (black box) works perfect. Only the unit gets very hot, but it works very well. The GPS takes a little work, but once it detects the satellite marks the speed and location in real time. Very Good Plus. The camera works exactly as described by the manufacturer. The filming at night is really very good. Buy another! Great Buy!

AMERICAN RECORDER CO-SOFTD CO2 Dust and Particle Remover Complete Kit

AMERICAN RECORDER CO-SOFTD CO2 Dust and Particle Remover Complete KitI bought this tool for precision work, cleaning the insides of cameras and the outsides of dried insects, to use for closeup photography. It works great for both jobs. Gas flow is stable and easily controlled from a whisper to a high velocity stream. I can't think of anything to improve with this tool.

Little expensive since the each cartridge don't last very long so use it wisely. Its perfect for working on Digital SLR that have minor need cleaning

Based upon other Amazon reviews of similar products I purchased this thinking that this was the most cost effective solution. Unfortunately the capacity of the cartridges is so limited that they don't even last when trying to remove accumulated dust from a single laptop or DVD player. Part of the issue is that the CO2 stream is so gentle as to be ineffective on any particles of more substance than a mole of dust.

I used this kit in the past (early 2000's) to clean my Nikon D1x and Nikon D2x. It worked well. When I got back into photography with the Nikon D800e, I wanted a good cleaning kit, this forms one part of that kit. It delivers clean air for blowing out dust and other particles on the camera's sensor and mirror chamber. I also use it to blow off any dust on my lenses. I find it far better than the typical hand blower, which just pushes dirty air around your camera.

I also purchased additional CO2 cartridges (2 packs) which will last for years of normal camera cleaning.

The battery life is just horrible. I have just recharged my DVR but it only last after 4 uses or 60 minutes. The battery still drains even when it is not on. Putting in the tiny 8GB in the DVR can be frustrating, the product did not come with any instructions. The video and sound quality is average at best. Not enough software, no computer software at all so I can not share the video to be uploaded on Amazon.

I've bought this camera, as I thought it had a better quality then another ones, which have the similar design. The shipment lated and I had to wait longer then it was written in account panel. The item came with defects. It didn't have a screw, I couldn't even install it in the car... The quality is not something special and different from another cameras. Now I can't understand why it costs so much.. Don't waste a time to buy this item, it's a garbage..

I bought one of these, and the only resolution it will do is 1280x480. The manual describes a menu option to change it, but on mine that option does not exist. Also, it defaults to 2 lens recording on every startupI would prefer it to stay as I last set it. I'm looking for a replacement.

I must say I was skeptical of the claims for this item for the price. The instructions leave a bit to the imagination but I finally got it working and

was very surprised and pleased at the results. The ability to choose between forward-looking and rear viewing is definitely useful and fun. I can get some great sunsets or 5 or 6 minutes of traffic flow to my computer for further use. You can turn it off then to keep it or let the loop continue recording over the previous collection. Candid shots of passengers are keepers, too! A well-spent hundred bucks and it can be found cheaper now. The only con is the short memory. Mine and the camera! Thank you, Amazon, for the fast and efficient service.

TASCAM TMSTPRO Condenser Microphone - Cardioid

TASCAM TMSTPRO Condenser Microphone - Cardioid
  • Includes 16' stereo XLR cable
  • Switchable low cut filter
  • Includes microphone stand clip, wind screen, AA battery and protective carry pouch

I have used this microphone for small group and piano recording, and it's an excellent less expensive alternative to the more expensive Audio-Technica equivalents (which I have also owned and enjoyed).

The two big pluses are being able to use built-in batteries for long periods of use, without the inconvenience of phantom power, and the inherent viability of single-point stereo miking, which, as has been demonstrated for decades now, can result in a very pleasing stereo image.

The only "negative", which one would expect in this price range, is that, no, it's not fully up to the kind of quality you can get from large diaphragm, tubed, condensor microphones (such as the Neumann and its brethren). One would expect that. But this is a great 'starter' mic, a big step up from the super-cheapies, and a convenient mic for location recording, so long as you're not expecting 100% professional quality.

Very highly recommended, and I've had no problems or issues using this microphone at all.

Good sound, nice features. I use it with a Tascam field recorder, unfortunatly the mic's gain is a little low so I have to push the gain up and end up with some noise. I have not seen this on my VS 2480 mixer so I assume the mic is pretty clean and the problem with the Tascam's preamp. I am on my second mic, the first one suddenly developed a nasty buzz on one side. Overall a good mic for the money.

I first used this mic for a men's barbershop quartet, then used it for a horn playing band, then to mic a small choir. It does amazing things that other condensor mics can't because it is stereo. I even pushed monitors pretty hard with no feedback so it is very stable in the live mix. I haven't used it to record but I'm certain it would be great. It can run on phnatom power or if that isn't available it can be powered by a battery so that is a plus. Next I will use it for a vocal group playing banjo/guitars or maybe to capture a drum kit. If you are a sound man and want a special mic this one can do a lot of things and the price I paid made it sweeter.

I purchased this camera based on some third party reviews I found not realizing this and some others are copy-cat models of the original GS1000 dash cam.

While I'm still learning and beginning to use the camera, the instructions are not much more than a how-to that means nothing until you figure out that the buttons are used in pairs, multiples to access certain menu/functions. My Windows7 operating system does not recognize this device nor does the supplied "driver" cd provide any driver or software that can be used to view/update drivers or firmware. Essentially you're on your own trying to get this to work with your laptop...I actually had better luck on the tv. This device might be easier to use if it came with a remote like some other models since this device was clearly made outside of the United States therefore not US centric design. Since I just now figured out how to manipulate the buttons to get to the menu functions, I'm still hopeful that I will be able to find some software that is compatible with this device to allow firmware/driver updates when needed and also allow me to view the captured images without using an SD card adapter since this camera uses a micro SD card.

I'm a highly technical person so if you're not, you may want to consider something more user-friendly.

I got this dashboard camera from the shipper in good time. I read the instructions. Got the camera out and set it up on the computer, it would not come on. The light said it had power so I left it to charge for a bit. For the program to review it with the map, if you do not know much about computers you may have a bit of a problem installing the program. So a few hours later it still did not work. Next day I set it up in the car and that is when it worked. I could not get to the Menu to setting to work in the car. So I drove for the day with the way it was from the box and return home, took the camera out of the car. Set it up on the computer, It came on this time. The instructions dos not help in the menu at all. I tried to change the length of recording time. But it dos mot show it in minutes. I also tried to change the speed read out from Kilometers miles per hour which I could not accomplish. The quality of the video for the day is good, but at night was not so good. The GPS and map function when working is way off about 80 to 100 miles. I have the unit for over a week now the battery in it is no good. I have not been able to get back into the menu since the first time. I have had to put on the camera several times while driving. It somehow turns itself off. And last of all the video recording is not reliable. This is why I got the camera in the first place. I like it for the size and what it does. But it does not do what the manufacture says it does. I would not recommend it.

I have attached a video that was set to record for 15 minutes, but this is how long it has recorded several times in a row. two short less 33 seconds and one just over 2 minutes.

I bought a GS1000 with GPS logger from E_bay for around $90. Worked great. Picture quality was great and low light performance was good. I liked it so much that I decide to get another one from E_bay. Since I didn't need the GPS logger function, I decide to get the GS1000 without GPS for around $45.

There are many "GS1000" without the GPS for sale on E_bay. Almost all of them are less than $50. Some of these advertised as 1.3M sensors. At least these sellers are honest. Other of these "GS1000" (without the GPS) advertise them with 5M sensor. I was careful to buy the one with 5M sensor. Well, big disappointment, the picture quality is not even close to the real GS1000 and when lights gets a bit dim, the camera is recoding nearly completely black due to the inferior sensor.

So be careful of the the "GS1000" without the GPS logger on E_bay and elsewhere.

4 stars for the real GS1000 and 1 star for the fake ones.

Bought this camera based on third party reviews (). The product itself works great exactly as described. The camera ended up being the 'New Blue Menu" version with the latest firmware 2.04. I was crossing my fingers for the Orange Menu, but no complaints. After my purchase I contacted Maxwell about which version I was going to receive, they got back with a fast reply but claimed they had no clue which version they were shipping.
